Drake Gets Shot!!!
I came upon this video of Drake on Degrassi. I've watched the show a couple times. It is corny, mediocre, and cheesy as hell. Drake can act alright, but I really can't take this seriously! haha
Is Drake a Poser?

Is Drake a Poser? I find that when people reject someone or something they get stuck on one thing to prove their point. For example there are those people who dismiss Drake as a rapper solely because they perceive him as a "poser" since he didn't come from the stereotypical conditions that most rappers have come from. Next month I'll be going to see him in concert and can't wait. Whenever I tell someone, there is always that hater that scoffs at my excitement, saying Drake is such a poser or a bad rapper. Now I completely believe that musical taste is a matter of taste and preference. So yes to some he might be a bad rapper. But is it fair to say he is a poser and how?
A poser is someone who acts like something that they’re not. Drake does not market himself as a "gangsta rapper". Because he simply isn't. I haven't seen him in any music videos throwing gang signs and rappin' about ak-47s. He didn't come from the streets and doesn't act like it either. In fact he was discovered by Lil Wayne based solely on his talent and not where he came from. Just because he was on Degrassi when he was younger doesn't mean he can't express himself through rap, with content relevant to his age and himself such as sex, coming to terms with fame, women, love, etc.
In conclusion Drake is not a poser. So those people that don’t respect Drake as an artist because he came into the rap game in an unorthodox way, can quit making the same irrelevant remarks. Case Closed. Please comment if you can refute that.
